POLENTA TYPICAL ITALIAN DISH
As in Romania ,in Ticino too ,polenta is a much popular dish. We happened to be in Lugano at the time when a Ticino folk festival was held in the streets of dowtown,not far from the beautiful building of the Mayor's office. It was nice Italian music played there in downtown,while polenta(made out of cornmeal) was served,cooked in peasant style.The atmosphere was nice,people enjoyed themselves,danced,hotblooded and full of passion as Italians can do.A web site containing everything about polenta and other typical Italian dishes,incl.recipes,is mentioned below.
