  • Pasta

Great place, specially in summer, where the big outside veranda is totally opened, and during really hot days a gentle breeze of water will assist you during the dinner or lunch. In winter the veranda is closed, keeping the place warm and nice. Also a great place for snacks and after dinner.

The food is good but the ambiance of the place and the friendliness of the owners is what makes this place. You have great views of the lake and it is great just to see the locals of all ages just pop in and out.The meats and pastas are good and it is also a great place just to have a bottle of wine, watch the boats on the lake and the locals.

Loud rock music played all night (not live) and wonderful drinks.. actually this is the place to come and do some serious drinking: Pardo sells spirits and beer by the yard. Friendly crowd. And it has the only two public pc's in town - beware about connection prices... ouch!

Dress Code: definitely very casual - actually as causal as you can. You can never be casual enough

This is the port at Ascona, Switzerland. It was our first stop when taking the boat to Isola Bella. It takes about 10 minutes to load passangers and leave for the next port. Do the same bungy jump as James Bond at the start of the Goldeye movie! It also may be the longest jump in the world, although this seems to be rather disputed. At 220m it's an incredible height to jump, and the surrounding countryside only adds to the event. Spare underwear.
