    This little "red arrow" train takes you on a round trip from Piazza Manzoni for about 40 minutes, approx. 10 km. It costs Fr. 8.00 for adults. You can get off in certain places and get back on later in the day if for instance you want to go up Monte Bre.

    You can find the timetable for 2007 on the Lugano website. But generally it runs from about March to October depending on the weather.

    Ready to go onboard

    A tour of the City aboard the train "La freccia rossa" (the red arrow) which allows you to discover the beauty of the City and its neighbourhood, the San Salvatore and Monte Brè funiculars, the Casino and the Lungolago.
    It is possible to book special group tours (max. 54 passengers).
