The peak of the glacier near Lucerne offers a special sensation: when taking the aerial cable-car to the top, the gondolas start revolving on the 600-meter-long segment beginning in Stand and ending at the mountain station Klein Titlis located at 3,020 meters above sea level.

In Engelberg you can go to Mount Titlis. This mountain is 3020 meters/10000 feet high. On clear days you have magnificent views.
I had the benefit that it was a great day when I was on top of Mount Titlis: sun and blue skies.

Take the mountain cableways high in the air called Rotair Cable-car with a rotating Gondola. It starts revolving on the 600-meter-long segment beginning in Stand and ending at the mountain station Klein Titlis located at 3,020 meters above sea level.

If you get to Engelberg, you must go up the Titlis, the lift on all the way to the top does not take to long. Reserve about 3 to 4 hours if you plan to just reach the top and admire the snowy peeks, and more if you want to snowboard or sky.

A form of excercise to those who are tired of just sightseeing;) It can be arranged for individuals or groups.You'll need to register at the Schweizer Skischule if you want to join.

Walking through this tunnel will lead you to the boarder of 2 Cantons,Bern and Obwalden.And to the "South Face Window",which also offers panoramic view of the alps.
