Carino Says: The whole church is made out of stone, as usually churches are made out of wood and stone. Very nice building.

Thomas Platter Stube: Great Desserts!
Carino Says: Very good located is the Thomas Platter Stube in Grächen. Unfortunatelly there are no windows in the back of that place, where you'd have a perfect view to the mountains. No question: Apfelstrudel with Vanilla Sauce!! Delicious!!
Carino Says: You can drive up to Grächen, but the town itself is carfree. Which means, that you have to park your car at the beginning of the town. Later on you can walk around town. Everything is in walking distance.

Carino Says: Behind the church, you'll find those Graves. All of them have the same wood cross, because they are forced to do that. Also, you need to put a picture onto the cross. Kinda cruel, don't you think?

Most of tourist know Zermatt and Saas Fee. On the way from Brig to Zermatt is another pretty village: Grächen!
