Favorite thing: Lake Brienz is 9 miles long and up to 2 miles wide. Most N. Americans bypass this lake and opt for resorts along Lake Thun. Europeans tend to prefer this lake. I personally am glad we chose lodging on the shores of this lake as the mountain ranges seemed more dramatic and scenery more beautiful.

Favorite thing: There were photo opps at every turn if you enjoy this type of scenery. The homes are quaint and charming in an almost ideal setting. Switzerland is one of the most beautiful countries I've ever seen.

I don't know about Iseltwald, but the town of Bonigen (it's neighbor) has chalet tours.
