We had lunch at a little street restaurant across from the Rathaus. The lunch was good and the waitress was very helpful. We sat next to an elderly lady. She asked if we were Canadian or US citizens. She had heard us talking. We told her US not knowing what to expect. Some people are very friendly and some are not to Americans. She was very friendly. She asked about Washington DC and other questions. Then she started talking about immigrants and got very angry. It seems she like tourists but not immigrants. She was very nasty towards Italians, Portugese, and Greek immigrants. She kept getting louder and louder and we tried to calm her down. We did not know who might be sitting near us and did not want any problems with any anyone from one of these countries. She finally got ready to leave. She was very old and had difficulty walking but she had a lot of spirit in her. She was quite a character.
