    There are interesting elements ornamenting the clock tower, like horsemen, a rooster and other animals who tell me under the clock work.

    Though not as popular as the astro clock in Prague old town, this historic Bern clock is equally attractive as a significant landmark in the main street. Beside the clock face are cute elements popping in and out at regular intervals.

    The clock tower in Bern is a city landmark. It's very nice to look at, but really that doesn't last for that long. It is just a clock afterall. Every hour at 4 minutes to the hour, it starts a little "show", which is basically is like what you would see on a cuckoo clock, only a lot bigger. This is something to check out if you are in the area, but if you're not, don't worry about it.

  • Address: Corner of Kornhaus Platz and Kramgasse
  • Directions: Old town. Very easy to find.
