Paragliding might be possible at one or the other smaller place in Gimmelwald, BUT I am sure is best to go up into the higher mountains above Gimmelwald : Schilthorn, Allmendhubel or Birg are the best places to do so. You may even book a tandem-flight in advance or in some cases I even met paragliders, who went up the Schilthorn and were waiting there for passengers for a tandem-flight.
The prices for such a tandem-flight are :
from Schilthorn : 270,- sfr / from Muerren : 160,- sfr
Equipment: In order to fly with one of the tandem-paragliders you will not need to bring your own equipment - it will be provided by the companies :
