    The place is new and elegant, with a wide terrace for dining outside and enjoy the view of the Jungfrau.
    The staff is warm and welcoming, and there is no dress code.
    There is also live music on some days, there was even brunch with a jazz band on some Sundays. There may be an additional fee for the music in such occasions.

    The Berner Rosti was delicious, with thin slices of meat in a mushroom sauce.
    With many dishes you have the option of a smaller portion: it is about 3/4 of the standard one.

    The place is informal and friendly. It is located in a small street with several other restaurants, but this is the only one serving Swiss food in this street.
    I have compared prices of the same traditional dishes in various restaurants in Interlaken, and this one is less expensive.

    I am sorry I cannot remember the actual name of the dish I liked best, but the menu has descriptions in English, and this one consisted of slices of veal with a sauce and roesti. Also the bratwurst with onion sauce (a classic of the region) is good.
    The price I indicate below is for a meal with a main course, side dish, a large beer and a dessert.

    The are many restaurants in Interlaken. The best thing to do is walk the length of the town and investigate the menus that meet your taste. I liked the sidewalk cafe restaurants like in the picture. On nice days it's to nice to be in doors.

    They even have a McDonalds in Interlaken.

    During my stay in Interlaken I used this wonderful place to stay!
    Hotel (see HOTEL TIPS) and restaurant FALKEN and I can really recommend it to you!

    Traditional Swiss meals are delightful and just the right thing you need when spending days enjoying snow & ice......

    The atmosphere is: sehr gemütlich!

    Rösti........with all kinds of delicaties....

    In Post-Hardermannli's restaurant you can get delicious veg.pizza.It's a treat for pure vegetarians! Veg Margarette Pizza costs only 11 Francs.You can have juices or soft drinks too.There is Macdonld restaurant in Interlaken where you can get Veg Macberger.ButPizza is a speciality cuisine..so enjoy!!

  • Since I was on a budget (Switzerland was my last stop before returning to Lima, Peru) and I almost ran out of money, I had to take the cheapest option for food available: Migros!!!! Thanks to it I did not starve :). Either the supermarket or the restaurant offers you something nutritive for the stomach at a lesser price than a restaurant!

    Very convenient if you travel by train, this self-service restaurant offers you a buffet with different types of meals, and additionally serves some "Tagesteller" - dish-of-the-day - meals.
    Coop, who is the operator of the restaurant, is known for the good quality of food. The restaurant is only 200 metres from the station.

  • This restaurant at the hotel is convenient as it is close by. It has a lovely relaxed atmosphere, with light music and nice food. It's not typically Swiss, providing more of an international menu for it's clientele staying ta the hotel.

    There are so many Fondue places in town you cant go wrong....just stick with the crowds or ask at your hotel.

  • This is Interlaken's 'In-Bar' , the place to be seen in.. lol. It has Internet stations, Latino music on Fridays and a rather decent array of cocktails.

    The Italian Gelato icecream and coffee was superb!
