Trummelbach Falls has 10 glacier waterfalls that are inside a mountain. The thundering falls are fed by Eiger, Monch, and Jungfrau Mountains. You reach the falls by a tunnel-lift. It is a Unesco world natural heritage site and it was pretty cool. The area around the falls are really beautiful - perfect for walking/exploring.

I went to this falls on the way back from Jungfrau, it was too late. The entrance closes at 5PM :( But the walk to this falls was great. My suggestion: Walk to this falls. It takes close to an hour, but takes you through the beautiful village. Of course, you can take the bus on your way back to Lauterbrunnen Train station. Remember bus takes a different route.
Just follow the signs from the Train station. To your right, you see another waterfall on the way.

    Me inside Trummelbachfalle

Trümmelbachfälle is a waterfall inside a mountain, located reaching Lauterbrunnen. The entrance fee at the time was CHF 10, sorry but don't know the current price :( With the help of an elevator (useful just to get into the mountain, the rest you have to do it walking), my friends and I could get into the most hidden corners where this icy waterfall is born. However, bring another group of clothes with you, because you will go out of there completely cold and wet!

The Truemmelbach-falls in Lauterbrunnen are certainly worth a half-daytrip, when you stay in Interlaken and you may easily combine it with excursions to Wengen, Muerren or Jungfraujoch. These waterfalls are quite unique and they are also listed as a UNESCO-World-heritage: You may take an elevator up the mountain and you may see there 10 glacier-waterfalls INSIDE the mountain - a long path will lead you to the most spectacular places.
These waterfalls alone are draining the Eiger, Moench & Jungfrau-glaciers at this side of the mountains - 20.000 litres of water per second will rush through these cascades, everything is wet and hazy inside the mountain, but not at all slippery, all of the tunnels are lighted well, and you might need about 1 hour to see and enjoy everything !
The entrance-fee for the Truemmelbach-falls is 10 Sfr. and includes the ride on the lift, that takes you up the mountain, BUT you still have to step up many steps in order to get to the highest point. Make sure you step down all the way to the entrance-gate, otherwise you will miss some of the best waterfalls !!
Sorry, this place is NOT accessible for handicapped tourists !!
The lift just takes you to a higher place, where you may see the falls ONLY, when you are able to climb up hundreds of additional steps !!
The Truemmelbach-Falls are open April - November
    daily between 09.00a.m. and 05.00p.m.
    in July & August : 08.00a.m. - 06.00p.m. !!
The car-parking there is free of charge !!

Die Post Bus Station at Trmmelbach Falls

From Lauterbrunnen you can catch the Post Bus for a 5 minute ride to the Falls. It only costs a few francs. (Post Buses do not accept Swiss Passes, but sometimes you will get a discount.)

    Hours:
    Open April to November
    daily 9-5

Claustrophobics stay away. If the caves don't get to you, the amount of people they stuff into the lift will!

    Trummelbach Falls

From Interlaken, trains and buses will be able to take you to Trummelbach Falls, where water flows through a series of caves, shaping them into all sorts of weird shape.

Bring a coat or towel, because you will get soaked, and sturdy footwear for the slippery floors.
