Arriving by cruiseship in Oberhofen is certainly the most romantic way and you may easily combine it with a visit to Spiez, Schloss Huenibach and Thun, when you take a dayticket and start cruising early in the morning in Thun or Interlaken West. Something that you should know, is the fact that ALL of the upperdecks of the ships are reserved for the passengers of 1st class !
All ships on Thunersee are part of the "Regionalpass Berner Oberland"

You may get easily by bus to Oberhofen : The Bus #21 is going along the north-bank of Thunersee between Interlaken (Ost and West-station!) and Thun, passing by also Huenibach castle, Merlingen, Beatenbucht & Beatenhoehle and Neuhaus. From Thun the bus takes 10 minutes to arrive in Oberhofen, from Interlaken it takes 40 minutes. especially the road west of Interlaken is really scenic with a road constructed on tilts and with plenty of tunnels.
This bus - just as well as the trains and ships around Thunersee - is part of the "Regionalpass Berner Oberland"
