Favorite thing: When in Spiez you *have* to go down to the lake and enjoy the recreation area there. Beside all sorts of water sports like sailing, surfing, just swimming or so, tennis and other activities are offered.
Don't miss a walk along the lake promenades. Especially on the bank toward the castle hill you find nice cafes, benches etc. to relax and watch.
