Michael_D's Restaurant Tip
See Lucerne in the daytime;-) Lucerne , with a diminutive population 60,000 is located on a lake of the same name and has a feel about it that belies its small size. Kappellebrucke (Chaple Bridge) you see here is a covered footbridge built in 1333 originally for defense purposes but now houses a watertower and is a consummate Swiss tourist site with over 100 pictures by Heinrich Wagmann showing the life and costumes of ancient Lucerne and a most relaxing view of the lake as well.

The interieur design of the restaurant is fantastic, the wonderful blue corridor to the toilets alone is worth the money and the way there!

Stadtkeller Restaurant at Lucerne.
This restaurant also has stage performance of original Swiss Folk Music, yodeling, alphornblowing and flagthrowing, national costumes and typical swiss atmosphere. It is a real treat for visitors to experience the Swiss culture!
Favorite Dish: Swiss Fondue - how can you ever visit Switzerland without trying this famous dish which is the main staple of the Swiss' diet? For most Asians, it definitely takes a brave heart to eat this, for most Asians do not like cheese at all. But of course they will try the Fondue in order not to miss out on the experience so most will take just a few cubes of bread dipped into a little bit of the simmering cheese.....
Me? I love bread with cheese so Mmm.....absolutely delicious!
Höfli Café: Café
This Höfli Café is a classic one, maybe even traditional Swiss coffee place, I am not sure, but they served us very good coffee and toast here.
And as we already in this nice place, why not also visit the trendy café here, the coffee shop of the museum of art.
Pizzeria Mary.: Water Side Cafe
The sandwich was good and other foods were also fine. The pizza is the specialty, based off the menu, but is just okay.
Favorite Dish: Local sandwich of meats and cheese.
