Once in a year the rowing world has a view on Lucerne, when the Rotseeregatta takes place. Great scenery and interesting races makes it a special day for rowers! It´s the race to qualify for Olympia or World Championships for the German rowers so the best are racing here!

International Rowing Regatta at the Rotsee/Lucerne
If you are interested in rowing or sports in general do not miss this regatta if you are around when it takes place. The Rotsee is the world's most beautiful regatta lake and - apart from world championships or Olympic games of course - the Rotsee Regatta is the best regatta of the year. Plus there's a great party at the Pickwick Club in Lucerne Downtown on Sunday evenings!
