The Jesuit Church, which was built in 1666/73, is the first and one of the finest baroque churches in the country. Special points include the sacristy, the rich stucco work, the church treasures, and the penitential robe St. Nikolaus von Fluee.

This magnificent church is dedicated to St. Franz Xaver. The main spires were completed in 1893.

See the Cathedral of St. Ledger right by the bridge! It's a neat looking cathedral and is also a well-known landmark. It has many late-gothic sculptures inside, and is just neat to look at from the outside. There is also another beautiful cathedral in town, the Jesuit Church. I didn't get a picture of it however, but it was really cool looking! They are both easy to find in the center of town and are labeled on maps.

The Jesuit church is the first large sacral Baroque church in Switzerland; constructed in 1666 by Father Christoph Vogler for the Jesuits. The vault was redecorated in the mid-18th century. The original vestments of Brother Klaus, a famous Swiss patron, are stored in the inner chapel.

Though not the most famous church in Europe, many on our tour thought it was the most beautiful that they had seen.

See the Jesuit Church. Although all the churches are nice, this one had incredible pink marble works throughout the church. I'm not a big fan of pink but this was beautiful!
