This is a great place to go with kids. You will find all kind of animals there and they also have some rollercoaster. When I was a kid my parents coudn't get me away from the baby goats...
They also have an under water bar where you can have your drinks while looking at the dolphins.

The castle of Arenenberg is situated high above the Lower Lake of Constance, and it provides a beautiful view of the lovely banks of the Höri Peninsula and the Island of Reichenau, as well as the volcanic mountains of the Hegau and the Swiss ridge along the Lake and the Rhine River.

The untersee (underlake) with its lovely villages is for me definitly a place you should visit in the Thurgau. I especially like Steckborn, Berlingen and Stein am Rhein. There is a very nice castle with restaurant on the hill right next to Stein am Rhein.
