The locals love the place. Located not far from Hotel Fly Away and Claudia Cinema. So visitors, if you have longer stays here, you may start your day-walking off to the woods. There is a special trail for walking and jogging donated by Helsana Health Insurance.

The authorities are very generous giving a possiblity to all guests who are fond of coming here either just to unwind or catch a good capture of planes and some airport views.

Helpfulness
This is a simple, little, white painted "Hut or Kiosk" close to the plane-spotting area near Rümlang. The Heli-team welcome and serves you some quickie foods and refreshments. For bikers, ramblers or joggers, here's a good spot for you. There are even some coming here with their own car just to enjoy an airport atmosphere or some plane photographers.

By bus from the airport: Postauto Bus# 510 until Rümlang train station. Do not follow the signs going to the village but the other way round. Pass the hanging bridge, then over the River Glatt bridge passing by the Garden Club, walk straight ahead and there you are.
The bus is commuting every hour except early mornings and late afternoons.

I'm an airport afficionado and i guess the only one among my female friends especially when comes to taking pictures of planes. I admit, i do not understand those technical deals or anything pertaining to any machine moving in and out of the area....but the whole in common just fascinates me. The viewing terrace is a must for local or foriegn guests. My captures are all taken at the landing and take-off "visitors" area during a photo tour with some profi-photographers.

This restaurant has two parts. One of them looks kinda rural and the other one is located in a nice winter garden and is a bit more noble.
Opening Times:
Monday to Friday: 8am until Midnight
Saturday: 5pm until Midnight
Sunday: Closed
Favorite Dish: I had marinated Chickenbreast with Potato Croquette. Very delicious!
Usually you can choose between 3 daily menues. You can also order a là Carte, but the Choice is not that big.
