Davos tips on a Zurich page, Zürich
This is the highest town in Europe. Its air is very clean, and I guess is about the cleanest town in Europe. I guess it will be a condusive place for sports men and women to train for competition.
For tourist, this is the place to be.
Favorite thing: As I walk towards the train station, I suddenly saw the tourist office. This is where I got lots of information about what to do and where to go. The staff were very professional and seem to know that lots of dignitaries were in town. I got everything I wanted, even before I open my mouth to ask. Nothing that you require mormally are on sale; they were given out absolutely free.
Favorite thing: Davos is an interesting place to take a walk, this is because it is very boring to remain in the hotel room if you are less busy. Though the Bars are usually full, however, the smokings in the bars are a minus. This is because there is no ban on cigaret smoking here. Thus, I found myself on the snowy street. Usually, you must be well dress for outdoors, but its an interesting view if you do.
Favorite thing: Davos Klosters Mountains: A paradise for snow sport fans. The two well known winter – Ski resorts Davos and Klosters consist of 5 mountains forming one big snow sport region. These winter-sport areas are situated between 1124 and 2844 meters above sea level and offer more than 300km of prepared pistes of all grades of difficulty.
Favorite thing: The obvious place to go is one of these mountains.Parsenn (Davos & Klosters), Jakobshorn, Rinerhorn, Pischa and Madrisa. All grades of pistes, long descents of 12km, friendly, family areas, floodlit sledge run and ski-pistes, modern transport and a uniform price structure makes Davos a suitable region for sport fan.
Favorite thing: One spectacle is the countryside. You certainly have to do this by car to enjoy the beauty of the amazing region. One would see the pine trees covered in snow, it gives a very clean feeling.
