This lake is such a beautiful one änd it is a must that you go slowly and enjoy the look. Especially in Vevey there such a beautiful walking area around the lake. Here is a perfect day to bring the family for a long walk.

Geneva is the most exciting destination you can find on the shores of Lac Leman, called Lake Geneva in Switzerland.

A truly international destination, I loved it on my first trip. St. Pierre Cathedral, Jet d’Eau (or quite simply the highest Water Jet in the world), and several of the museums have the potential to simply astound one. Fireworks’ shows, car show, tennis open championship, as well as several other events really make Geneva a top destination in any time of the year. There’re excellent shopping opportunities whatever you’re looking for – clothing, chocolate, watches, financial services and just about anything else.

    My Geneva Highlights:

    - St. Pierre Cathedral
    - Water Jet
    - Watch Museum
    - Baur Collections
    - Old Arsenal
    - Maison Tavel
    - Reformation Wall
    - Brunswick Mausoleum
    - English Church
    - The Auld Mug of America's Cup (now that Alinghi won it)
    - Fireworks’ shows
    - Shopping

For more info, you can check out my Geneva page! Thanks!

Photo Equipment: Switzerland is an expensive country - unless you're arriving from Japan, UK, or Scandinavia, that is. So, you will be wise to take the equipment you need with you from home. It's not that heavy, too:))

    More to come!
