After leaving the boat you hike for about 10 minutes through the forest to the waterfall. It's a little, wild waterfall. Maybe the sight of this waterfall is better from the french side, as this place is higher than the Swiss side. The Swiss platform is just a few meters under the top of the waterfall.

The captain of the boat gives you also the information of everything you can see during the trip to the northern side of the lake. There is a rock from which a parson used to jump into the lake and afterwards he collected money for children. He had his last jump at the age of 72!
As long as there is no wind you also enjoy wonderful reflexions.
The boat trip takes only about 15 minutes and costs CHF 12.00 (there and back).
Enlarging the forth picture you may see the heron at the shore.

In wintertime this lake becomes one of Europe's biggest natural ice rink. A great pleasure for children and adults.
