After that "stressful" hiking we jumped into the Walensee for a refreshing bath. It was wonderful! In Murg there is a nice free public bath. Well, the ground is very stony here, so it´s not so nice to get in. But swimming has been great, the water had the right temperature in this hot summer. Guess it´s a bit cooler other times, as the lake is one of the deepest in Switzerland.

On my last short trip to Zurich we decided to spent a day in the alps. Katrin, my friend who lives in Zurich was offering the plan to hike to the Murgsee, a small mountain lake in the near Alps.
As we were too sleepy and also took the wrong side of the lake (many building sites) we were a bit late for this plan. Well, the weather was great and so we started our way with direction to the lake.
There is a small road leading up into the Murg Valley. After some narrow serpentines we found a place to park my little Lupo and we put on our hiking boots....

What better can you get than a nice picnic in the beautiful scenery of the Alps???
Favorite Dish: Swiss cheese, some bread and as a dessert a piece of Swiss chocolate, who needs more???
