Although Neunkirch is situated in Switzerland, it is served by a Deutsche Bahn railway line. We took the train in Schaffhausen to Neunkirch. It's basically a one carriage train that runs from Schaffhausen to Erzingen in Germany. The journey isn't very long. Carefully check the timetable as they don't run too often.

If you have more time and want to take a bus then there is that option from Schaffhausen too. The buses leave in Schaffhausen on right side in front of the railway station. The journey seems to be more expensive by bus. In Neunkirch there is a bus station just in front of the railway station building. When we arrived there was actually a bus waiting for a short time, so don't idle around if you want to catch it. The bus brings you to other neary villages like beautiful Hallau etc.
