This is a GREAT little shop....mostly womens and mens clothing..some jewellery...but odds and ends as well...Andrea bought a stainless steel kettle when we were there so its more than clothing thats available to buy here.

One of the Men's line that they carry is an Italian designer ...Marlboro Classics...I didn't look at the womens clothing...but in general the clothing lines are kind of high end.. they also sell designer jeans and I saw shoes here also...

The store is onwed by a woman named Erika...and her "right-hand" woman is a woman named Sabrina...together they provided a wonderful service...helping us to select clothing and were quite pleasant to be around.In fact Sabrina is a daughter of Andrea...

I walked out of there with a "beautiful new jacket" and almost bought "beautiful new shirts" to go with it....Andy bought "beautiful new shirts though....if certain friends in Swizerland ever read this Im sure that they'll have quite the chuckle...inside joke I guess...

What to buy: This was NOT a souvenir shop....

What to pay: I dont want to even THINK about it....but I really like my new jacket... : O ]

What to buy: Perfume and gas are the less expensive items in the duty free village Samnaun. Perfume you get in almost every shop and they all offer the same price.
For all the other items you don't have to pay the tax but in Switzerland the tax is only 7,6%; therefore other items are not that cheap.

What to pay: For perfume about 30% less than in a duty free shop at the airport. Also gas is about 30% cheaper than in other gas stations in Switzerland.

Hermelindis has been in Samnaun for ever. I remember shopping there a long time ago. It offers the usual Duty Free goods (Spirits, Tabacco, Parfumes) as well as Electronics, Clothes and Food.
I found the prices to be a bit cheaper then in the other duty free shops.

What to buy: - Spirits
- Wine
- Tabacco
- Parfume
- Watches

What to pay: Less then anywhere else....

Hangl's (one of the big families in Samnaun) have built a huge shopping paradise called Samnaunia. Of course all that is duty free!

I like the architecture of the place. It's very new but i looks like the original style house with modern elements.

What to buy: There you can buy:
- Sports clothes (Ski jackets etc.)
- Skiing equipement
- Jewlery
- Watches
- Clothes (mostly designer stuff)
- Parfume
- Alcohol
and lots more.

In the same building you'll find the Ski school office where you can book ski courses.

A ski (and of course snowboard) equipement rental is there too.

What to pay: About the same as in the other shops in Samnaun, perhaps a little more but for that you get a good service.

All over the town you will have your choice of many shops that are selling everything from clothing ...ski gear...sunglasses...jewellery...watches...liquor...perfumes....cigarettes and souvenirs.

The only shopping that I did was at Boutique Trend Bellezza where I purchased a Spring and Fall season type jacket.

I cannot make other recommendations for shoping except for Bellezza...

As mentioned in the Intro Samnaun is full of duty free shops, the prices are everywhere the same. But there are also other shops (dress, sports equipment) selling their merchandise to normal Swiss prices.

What to buy: All typical duty free articles as on airports, i.e. alcoholic drinks, cigarettes and tobacco products, perfumes etc. These goods are cheaper than on any airport in Europe.
Other interesting duty free goods are petrol (25-30 % cheaper than in the neighbouring countries), sugar and butter (EU subsidized surplus production, here much cheaper than in the EU or Switzerland)

At least in the main village of the valley, in Samanun itself, every house seems to host a duty free shop. And not enough,every petrol station has a duty free outlet, too.

What to buy: The typical duty free stuff - tobacco, alcohol. perfumes - is cheaper here than at most airports. Other duty free goods sold in huge quantities here are sugar and butter, The EU invests plenty of taxpayer's money to get rid of the over-production of its farmers by paying outrageous subsidies to enable an export of this excess production. And the EU residents come to buy the products only a few hundred meters behind the border to bring them back to the EU and to enable the locals in Samnaun to earn a fortune.
