The restaurant is historic, scenic, and on top of the mountain pass. because it's at over 2000 metres above sea-level it's open only in summer, when there's no snow. Food is simple but good, and there's many causual walks in the lake-dotted area. You can also go from longer walks from here
Favorite Dish: "tagliata mista". it's a selection of local cold meats. Don't miss the "carne secca" (dry meat9 which in this area is particularly delicious
For those who want to go up the mountain doing the San Bernardino Pass, right on top there's a fantastic lake and a little restaurant that will give you rest before continuing your trip.
