There is a large meadow at the west-end of Unterseen, almost in Neuhaus at Thunersee, that paragliders and Delta-flyers will use as a landing-area for their flights starting at Harder and it was great fun to watch them coming down silently and smoothly.
This place is certainly the best choice for beginners, who do not dare to fly down from such spectacular mountains like Brienz Rothorn or Schilthorn, but are searching dor an easy place to get accustomed with the new sport. Tandem-flights are also available, both for paragliders and for delta-flyers.
Equipment: No need to bring your own equipment, you will get everything there.

The Golfclub Interlaken-Unterseen is at Thunersee, next to Neuhaus at the west-end of Unterseen. That wide area is also next to a natural park and bird-sanctuary and when-ever I saw this place, I thought that this sort of green is much greener than any other meadow or grass in Switzerland.
