Great food and stunning views across the lake. Only a short drive to either Zurich to the west or Liechtenstein to the right.

Great terrasse.. Next to a great windsurfing spot, home to the Liechtenstein Sailing Club (they don't have a lake in that small country around the corner ...)

Walensee Off The Beaten Path

  • by FrancisByTheWater Written Dec 22, 2003

About everything off the beaten path in Walensee, except, at least for swiss residents, for a boat ride to Quinten.

Check http://www.walenseeschiff.ch/ for prices and schedules.
They have a photo gallery with nice photos like this.

Walensee Sports & Outdoors

Modest fares to sail or to learn how to sail - complete courses including the sailing license,
For instance all day rent for a Jolle 80 Sfr.
See the website for prices - it's german but the table is easy to understand.

    Equipment: Jolle, First 18/Tempest, H-Boot
