I asked in my hotel for a recommendation on a nearby bar and was directed to this around 5 mins away. Its pleasantly enough decorated inside.
They have Fashion tv on the television if that is your thing. Its Western prices on the food / wine menu.
When I was there late on a Summer Tuesday evening there was only a handful of people in.

Shamrock: Irish pub
cked away in Ukraine of all places, the Shamrock Irish Pub is a veritable bastion of the creme of the Irish tradition. We dare to think that it’s quite a special watering hole with a certain flair all of its own. What really sets it apart from a whole slew of other drinking establishments out there is the fact that it was originally set up as a labour of love rather than a for-profit enterprise. One fine day it occurred to us that our city was in dire need of a real pub, that is a popular snuggery where you could cozy up with your kith and kin and tie on a few pints in between spells of serious chin-wagging. Or, possibly, toast on a victorious turn for your favourite football club during football broadcasts.
You won’t find any pomp and circumstance here. The Shamrock welcomes good sports of all sorts as long as they’re on for a healthy gulp of suds and friendly shoulder-rubbing.
Bartolomeo: Creative Club
Creative Club Bartolomeo is an incarnation of a beautiful legend in grandiose establishment. You can find here everything for balance and harmony of your soul.
The conception of Creative club Bartolomeo is based on the legend, connected with the expedition of Portuguese navigator Bartholomew Diash, who opened Cape of Good Hope. This legend is reflected in original aesthetic design — the Club is decorated in African style and the restaurant complex is a stylized ship
Creative Club Bartolomeo is situated on picturesque bank of the Dnepr at the centre of Dnipropetrovs’k, one of the largest Ukrainian cities, near the main traffic line. The embankment, where the club is placed, is the longest one in Europe.
Govinda: For Vegeterians and others
Greate place to taste Krishna meal.
Also useful for vegetarians.
Besides main courses they do ice-creams, yoghurt and very nice and tasty cakes.
Another big advantage: "no smoking" and "no alcohol" policy :))))

Restaurant Ukraine: Traditional Costumes & Cuisine
If you have the Borsch soup here, it will come inside a hollowed out loaf of what is called 'black bread' (brown actually & very dense). The lid of the "soup bowl" is the crust. You are supposed to eat the soup (of course)... but the bread also. This is your starter!!!!
It is actually 2 years since I was in this particular retaurant but it is very nice. In the warm you may sit out outisde in the privacy of wicker like cubicles. On colder days or nights sit inside of course, but being served all the while by waitresses dressed in traditional Ukrainian costume.
Excellent food. Excellent service. Excellent wine. Well priced (as in reasonable).
Favorite Dish: The last time here, enjoying a nice bottle of wine and eating excatly what we wanted the bill for two came to just about 220 griven. May be a little more expensive now but still good value for what you get just off the city's main street.
The Country Cafe: Fish Soup
The food is usually excellent. I like the ambience. It is relatively well decorated for a Cafe rather than a restaurant. The music is American country music. My Ukrainian wife said that she only understood the words of the Elvis Presley songs when I sang them!!
Favorite Dish: Having travelled quite extensively I can say that the fish soup here is the best I have had in the world. The service I founf second to none. It is right on the cities main street making it very handy. A good full meal for two, including drinks may cost less than $40.
