Favorite thing: I spent in this city half a day, waiting for a train back home. We decided to get from railway station to center by foot, and it took quite long walk though. What I got to notice, Ivano-Frankivs'k is very friendly city with same very friendly people. At day time, it was very alive. As its a region center, in city quite well advanced business, lots of shops and services (comparing to most other west ukrainian citys, unfurtunatly, they are far from good).
Though, as for architecture, I expected more from this famous city. Just few beutiful buildings I came across, and most of them, in center.
Well, in spite of everything, Ivano-Frankivs'k is a fine place to make a stop in your further travellings around Carpathian Mts and west of Ukraine.
Fondest memory: As for fondest memory, it was in pizzeria Chelentano, which is close to main square. We were so hungry, so offered pile of food, waiters I guess, for first time saw such hungry tourists, was funny to see their eyes when we asked for more and more :) Btw, very tasty place to have a lunch.
