the best way to get to K-P is from Chernivtsi. the distance from Chernivtsi to K-P is about 80 km, and it takes about 1 hour to get there (depends on how many people get out on the road). mini vans leave the central bus station (219 Holovna St.) every 30 min. it will take you to the center of the new cityin Kamyanets-Podilsky, and from there you can either walk to the old city(15-20 min) or take a taxi (10 hr.)
a one-way ticket from Chernivtsi to K-P costs around 17 HR ($3.5) (as of Feb. 2008). the taxi to the Chernivtsi bus station( from the city center) costs around 15 HR ($3).
