Kherson has a lot to offer for party goers. Although the streets are relatively quiet at night, with most restaurants and pubs closing at around 11 pm, there are a couple of food joints that are open all night.
I was really surprised to find a club like the Millenium in a small city like Kherson. Good music, modern amenities, separate restaurant room, karaoke, wide selection of drinks, and a distinct feeling of sophistication. This place does not have much less than the good clubs in Western Europe or the US. The only downside is that you cannot help but thinking that most customers there are involved in some shady businesses... The place is indeed quite expensive by local standards.
You have the same feeling in Rest, a newly built club that resembles a large villa, with separate areas for bar, dancing and... sauna!
The worst club I tested was the one close to the Fregat hotel. The name already tells a lot about the club's atmosphere: XXL. Not that it has strip shows or the like, but this is the only place where I met other foreigners during my Kherson-by-night experience. These people were there primarily to pick local girls, and most girls appeared to be there for being picked up.
WARNING: people are smartly dressed in Kherson!!! Most ladies are tastefully dressed, and men are expected to meet the standard. Leave a Comment
