this is more place to show up than to dance. Very popular though and prestigious. You can often meet celebraties here, or famous clubbers. Politics, their children, businessmen, models... If you want to relax and have fun with your friends it is not the best place.
However, in the afternoon and evening, DECADANCE HOUSE works as a restaurant with quite good food. So you may come for dinner and stay there.
I do not like this place. I come to a club to relax and not to show my new shoes or sunglasses.
Dress Code: latest fashion collections will be just appropriate for this place :-)

this place is unique not only because it is one of the oldest clubs with Latino/R&B music, but also because it is full 7 days a week. If other clubs maybe empty during the week (except SHOOTERS), the CARIBBEAN is always full of dancing smiling people. Every friday and Saturday till 1 a.m. plays live music.

It opened in the center of the city almost two years ago and became one of the hottest places on the map of Kiev's nightlife.
it is probably the only one place in Kiev where real DISCO is played. Always crowded, lots of fun, lots of friends around.

Club44 has lots of live music, lots of jazz music. it is very popular with the young sophisticated university students of Kiev. A native friend of mine brought me here and i really enjoyed it. It is hard to get a seat so if you want one try and get their early if not you will have to dance, which wont be so hard coz the music is rather good.
You can order your drinks either at the bar or by waiter service. With waiter service you will not get your bill until the end of the night.
Dress Code: their seemed to be no restrictions with regard to dress code.
Also the Kievpost can be picked up for free at this venue which is an english guide of whats going on in Kiev during that week.

Shooters is a blast! First of all, it is a Restaurant, a lounge and a great disco. You can spend the entire evening there. I don't know what time the place closes, but the few times I have been there it was still rockin at 4am!! Solid dance music & reliable bartenders. I recommend reserving a table for you and your friends near the dance floor.
Dress Code: Dress nice to casual, but not sloppy. Dress to have fun!

If you need to hear some English, definitely hit O'Brien's pub. We watched the 2007 "American" football playoffs there in January. Of course they came on around 2am in the morning!!! Great beer and food. Pool tables too.
Dress Code: Casual. Wear a sports jersey.

A great "Ausin Powers" type night-club! 80's and current hit music. On my first trip to Ukraine in 2002, I went to club 111, which I think closed. Now there is Club 112 located in Arena. A two-level bar that is high-energy! In Jan 07, we went there and met the nicest Polar Bear!

Last Spring I went to two concerts in Kiev. "The Black Eyed Peas" at the Sports Arena and "50 Cent" at the Arena. The BEP concert was awesome and off the hook. I wish I could say that $00.50 was worth the ticket price, but he sucked. I like the music, but he put on a crummy show.

Typically meaningless tag to give this pub which also serves food, have to say I am not a fan of supposed 'Irish' pubs except those in Blefast or Dublin.
Breakfasts and hot sandwiches served at the table, by the standards of the city it is pricier than average.
Pricey and ordinary - not really one to seek out but passable if you happen upon it at a time you want a snack or drink

as we were over for the ukraine v scotland soccer match it seemed like a good idea to head to an irish pub. we were mad to feel very welcome here with the drinks prices quite reasonable at 10hry for a pint of local beer. we also ate here several times again because it was all priced very well. i would recommend the chicken kiev.
Dress Code: there seemed to be no restrictions here
