The Trypillya Archeology Museum hosts Trypillian civilization artifacts (statuettes, ceramics, day-to-day agrarian tools, etc. ) as well as a small exhibit dedicated to Vincentiy Khvoika, the archeologist who had made this discovery in 1897.
the museum is located to the left of the main street. you will recognize it by its roof, which is decorated with enlarged (1.5 m ) replicas of Trypillya feminine figurines. Address: Trypillia villageDirections: 40 km south of Kyiv (Obukhiv-Kaniv direction). you can get their by taxi or a mini-bus (marshrutka). a mini bus (Kiev-Kaniv, or Kiev-Rzhyschiv) goes through Trypillya. the bus station is located on Podil, across the Market (Zhytniy Rynok).
