Yes the legend of the Luhansk potholes is true. Be aware when walking at night. Also, watch out for the puddles, the locals are not going to slow down for you. You may find yourself knee deep in chilly water. When it reains or in winter, wear water proof shoes if possible.

I am certain everyone is aware of the large amount of Interent scamming going on these days. There are a number of women posted on web pages, usually for free, and with marriage agencies. Be very aware of who you are dealing with.
NEVER SEND MONEY!
If they ask for money it is a scam. If you believe the girl, still have her checked out thru a reputable dectective agency or through VT friends here that may be able to provide you with useful and honest information before traveling. The cost is far less than the cost to travel, not including the disappointment.
