Lots of locals have a snack at one of such kiosks located at the entrance to the central market.
One of the kiosks is called Bliny ("Pancakes").
It is located to the left of the entrance to Parus Shopping Mall.
You can have our traditional pies, meat pies, pancakes, even Americana Coffe, etc.
The prices can be seen at the window. They are a good bargain.
There is another snack bar located opposite this one, next to the bus stop of buses departing to Luhansk.
It is called Pirozhkovaya ("Pie Canteen").
This is where you can have any pies (potato pies, potato and liver pies, pea pies, etc.) for UAH2.25 or a hamburger and a sandwich for mere UAH 5 with tea, coffee or juice.
Favorite Dish: potato pies, mushroom pancakes and what not...
This cafe has a unique name 999 - the one I haven't seen anywhere else.
It is one of the first things you see when you arrive by bus from Luhansk to the town market.
The cafe is open from 9 a.m. until midnight.
The cafe has a big banquet hall that I called Ancient Times Hall for it has images from Ancient Egypt and from Ancient Greece.
It is big enough to host a wedding or a birthday party.
This hall is to your left as you enter the cafe.
The hall to your right is a Common Hall with a bar.
There is a VIP hall to your right.
You can also sit at the bar unlike many other town cafes of the kind.
As you approach the entrance you can see a summer terrace to your right.
This is where you can go out to smoke in cold seasons.
Favorite Dish: lots of dishes from the Ukrainian and European cuisine
This off-the-beaten path restaurant is located right at the lakeshore.
It has a summer terrace and a nice and quiet hall with several tables.
I liked the tranquil atmosphere and the cuisine, the big choice of dishes.
This would be a good getaway place: half an hour by bus from Luhansk to Lutugino, then ten minutes by cab - and you are enjoying the splendid surroundings at this cafe!
If you decide to go there, do not forget to inquire beforehand, if there is no corporate party there.
Favorite Dish: Ukrainian pelmeni
This cafe is located on the outskirts of Lutugino after you cross railway line on the way to Luhansk.
It will be on your left.
The cafe has two halls: one big one and one small one with only one table.
That's where my friend and I sat when we drove past this cafe on our way to Luhansk.
We did some people watching and observed the merry birthday party that was going on in the big hall and even joined them in a dance.
Favorite Dish: Staropramen beer and pistachios
