We sat comfortably under an old willow tree and enjoyed the atmosphere. The cafe was full of young people. I think my father and I were the oldest among the customers :-)
Very few people ordered food, mainly they had drinks.
I only saw young people there, so it seems a nice meeting place for young people.

This must be the only "cowboy" cafe in Rubizhne.
Everything about the decor reminds you of the "Wild West" times.
They even have a "leather map" of America - nice to look at and to study while you have your beer...
There are two halls: the hall with the bar is used to play pool.
This bar can easily become your local like it did with me.
This is the only place that I frequent now during my visits to Rubizhne.
The Ukrainian beer is great here: Rogan Monastery beer (5.7 %). Leave a Comment

The cafe has several halls: one big hall and several smaller ones for secluded dinner.
They also have tables outside at their summer terrace.
The ambience is noble Roman with bas reliefs and pictures of the ancient Romans on the walls.
Our cab driver friend said that place was a very popular evening destination for many young people who could afford it. My brother and I went there to have some beer and then decided to have a bite.
Seeing that they cook real shashlyk, we ordered a decent portion for us.
It was very tasty, good conversation, meeting old acquaintances - lots of fun all in all!
The place is full of young and not-so-young people.
Next time we wil go there again, I'm sure.
The cafe has a huge screen on the wall of the neigboring building where you can watch soccer matches.

This restaurant has a good inside hall with two smaller banquet halls and a terrace where you can both sit and play pool.
It offers all kinds of local food, traditional Ukrainian and Russian dishes, almost anything you order (except mutton perhaps).
Also, you can attend parties here that are usually held on our public holidays.
There is a store to the left of the entrance, so you can also do some shopping for home.

Nice local cafe with local and European cuisine, cozy atmosphere.

This is the only bar/cafe in Rubizhne (and not only there) that has a Ukrainian name. Many others have either Russian or English/American names.
This bar is a new one. It is located right opposite my parents' apartment house.
All in all there are six bars and cafes in our neighborhood.
This bar has a small "winter hall" and a beertent that is used in warm weather. The beertent is closed at the end of September.
In the evenings there's music and dancing there.
