The village of Bolotenne is about ten miles away from the county center - Stanitsa Luganskaya - and about 30 miles away from Luhansk.
So if you are in Luhansk, the best way to get to Bolotenne would be to hire a cab for the entire period of your stay there.
There is no morning bus from Luhansk to Bolotenne. It can be very inconvenient for you because you have to get on the Bolotenne bus at "Hospital" bus stop in the county center - Stanitsa Luganskaya, and for that you only have to choices: Bus 214 at 5.25 a.m. and Bus 234 at 5.40 a.m. just to be in time for Bus 209 to Bolotenne.
There is another bus to Bolotenne that dparts at 3.40 p.m. from Eastern Block located in the far east of Luhansk near the city border.
If you take the morning bus, you will have to stay the entire day in the village and take the 4.30 p.m. bus back to Luhansk.
If you take the afternoon bus, you will have to stay overnight in the village, which means bringing your own tent and sleeping in it. On the next you you can take the the 4.30 p.m. bus back to Luhansk.
You would have much more freedom with your own cab.

Unfortunately the village shop is closed.
This village with its thirty residents is too small to have a store.
So they have what we call a guest shop on Wednesdays and Saturdays when a food truck arrives and you can do some shopping.
This is the only time you can buy food and drink here. Otherwise, if you have a car, you have to travel to the county center to do some shopping.

What to buy: food and drinks

What to pay: on Wednesday or Saturday morning

The main street was asphalted in Brezhnev times and we should be thankful for it now.
The main street is more or less OK, although there are enough pot-holes there (oops, there can never be enough pot-holes)...
There are a lot of earth roads here.
We used them for hiking and had a good time.
Be careful when driving along the roads here, especially in rainy weather.
