I have never found any real dangers here, although I have never stayed overnight here and have never walked along sidestreets... I stayed in well-lit central streets instead.
One warning should be mentioned though: try not to use tap water for drinking. Even boiled, its taste leaves much to be desired.
Get some free artesian water from what I called Mayor's Well in the park near School 53 or buy some water from such small kiosks as on the picture. The kiosk and the trade mark are called Vodomir.
If you choose to attend a liturgy at the church near the Mayor's Well, be careful when you approach the consruction site to check out the depth of the foundation pit. The foundation pit is not fenced and hence can be dangerous.
The stadium is at the end of Artiom Street.
It has a nice soccer field and seat above the central entrance.
The stadium is run by Luhansk coalmining administration.
The inscription on the field banner reads,Shakhtar - Only victory!
