  • One of the best restaurant that servs most popular local national specialties. Daruny (potato pancakes) with meat are the best.Do not try to eat olives (no matter where you go).

    Part of an attractive small residential resort, built in the romantic lakeside garden of an old villa district on the outskirts of L’viv. Facilities include a large indoor restaurant for 120 people, banqueting room for 20 people, little restaurant for private parties – with the spirit of an old Ukrainian mountain hut, several individual outdoor booths and a picnic area.

    This unique restaurant serves authentic old-Ukrainian-style fare – fabulous chanakhy (thick bean & meat soup with garlic), shashlyky (barbecue meat in Ukrainian style) cooked on an open fire.

    Nice little cafe in old city. Cousine is just excellent. Live music and nice interior.

    European and Ukrainian dishes.

  • Pretty small kafe in a center of the town.

    Mandriki - special local cookie with meat, served with liquid borsch (ukranian national soup) in a tea cup (!)

  • You can go there for a quick cup of coffee or tea, or enjoy a beer on their terrace, or head to the second floor for a great view and a fresh salad and hearty meal, and dont forget to leave room for dessert!

    Cake Kyiv : It's basically sponge candy meets cake, with a small amount of sweet cream ribboned throughout, chocolate drizzle on top, a slight nutty taste. Very good with a strong Chai (tea).
