In Christmas evening the concert of children's chorus has been shown in a hall of the hotel. Children were dressed in national suits. They sang Christmas songs in Russian and Ukrainian languages. It was very lovely!

Besides the imperial palace in Massandra once there was a manor of column Vorontsov. I did not manage to find even the rests of buildings of this manor. However the main property of the column's works became a huge park in Bottom Massandra. It begins in Middle Massandra and goes down to the sea. In its sizes it surpasses the park of Upper Massandra. It was created in the first half of the XIX-th century. It has more than 250 kinds of garden forms of trees and bushes.
Unfortunately, the park has a strongly missed appearance. Struggle is conducted now between local authorities and rich people in their wish to take hold of grounds in this unique park for construction of cottages. This struggle is conducted with variable success. However I have seen several already completed "palaces" of "new" Russians and Ukrainians on the territory of the park-reserve.
