    If you want to party, go to Arcadia beach at night (at least in summer). A lot of clubs are waiting for you to dance till the morning light. I spent one night there and had the impression that most of the party-people were young russian tourists and I must say, I was glad not to hear any English or German language there.... Of course, Arcadia in summer is an interesting place to spend during the day, but it is not the only beach worth a visit ;-)

    This nightclub located in Italian Boulevard is a specious place with many tables, good music and many visitors, although it is an upmarket place. The entrance fee is 35 UAH. We went there with my British friends, sailors of an oil tanker who had a short leave in Odessa. We met them at Mick O’Neills Irish pub in De Ribas Street. Since I was “a local” to them who had visited Odessa several times, I took them all to Palladium where we had a good time together. In fact, Palladium is also a hotel with a Turkish bath and a Finish sauna. Here are phone numbers for reservation: 728 66 51, 728 77 30; fax 728 77 99. The address is 4 Italian Boulevard.     Ibiza is the place to be if you want to have a blast off evening in Odessa,Ukraine...Superb music with at least one or twice a week a live DJ act...Funky club tunes,good sound&light shows...And the best part,tons of hot chicks!!!! All wearing sexy clothes...Dancing sexy...Uhhhahhh->Go and see by your selfs...You'll not reget it! The atmosphere is inmaginable,feel the fibes and dance till noon.Best peroid to visit is mid of july till mid august... How to find Ibiza,simply go to the beach promenade near Arcadia,go straight ahead for 5 mins....

    Just go like you want,but if you want to score dress sexy and up-t-date...That will improve your chances....

    At night there are a lot of bars and restaurants to hang out. It is beautiful especially in summer as nearly every restaurant offers outside seating facilities. If you want you can smoke a waterpipe, which is very common in Odessa...

    Ibitza is open 24 hours. In the disquoteque the sound quality is great. Every night there is a show and occasionally - mostly on the weekends during the summers there are concerts. This club is a little bit younger than Itaka but it is one of my favorites in Odessa. Come prepared to dance and again dress to impress if you want to stand a chance.

    Since I often stayed at Magnolia sanatorium, I went to Magnolia nightclub, a very attractive nighttime destination of many students of the neighboring National University. Located at the complex of Magnolia sanatorium, this place is a genuine Ukrainian nightclub popular with many young people. I always enjoyed the music and the atmosphere there. The entrance fee is 30 UAH (if you want to sit at the sofa) or you have to reserve a table beforehand. There is a good change of music there. Out of many nightclubs I have visited in Odessa this one stays in my memory for long. I have singled out this nightclub in French Boulevard as my favorite one due to its lively and relaxed atmosphere and nice music. It is always full of people and is located not far from Dolphin beach – 15 minutes’ walk downstairs. My American friend Omar (on the picture at the entrance to the hotel) whom I also took to several nightclubs in Odessa approved of my choice and enjoyed his stay in "Magnolia" too thanks to its musical program, bar and atmosphere.

    This pub is very popular among foreigners. It has two floors and a large bar. It has a special design and the bar is decorated with a lot of banknotes from different countries with autographs. They hang from the ceiling and we. my foreign friends and I, decided to take a picture there. They also serve different sorts of beer here. There is also a computer with Internet ($2 an hour) to the left of the entrance for you to work on the Internet, if you need it urgently.

    If you like classical music, an opera or ballet performance is really worth a visit. The main music-theater is the famous Opera House, of course (see 'Must-see-activities'). Besides the Opera House there is also the Musical-Comedy-Theater near the railway station. I saw the ballet "La Bayadere" (Minkus) there (as the Opera House was closed for restoration). The audience was quite young and very enthusiastic, the performance in my opinion very average. Let me know your experiences!

    Many visitors of Odessa (I was not an exception) stop in front of this magnificent building admiring its beautiful windows, columns and the wide marble staircase at the entrance. You can see a bronze plaque at the façade stating that the building is the architectural monument of the 19th century. There is a bust of the author of this superb building - architect A.A.Bernardacci. The building was built in 1894-1999 for the city stock exchange. Philharmonic Society in Pushkin Street moved into this building in the twenties of the 20th century. The hall sets about 1,000 spectators. The interior is very attracting, too, especially that of the Main Hall that is 15 meters high. Odessa Symphony Orchestra and lots of other orchestras, music groups and theater companies gave performances and concerts here.

    This nightclub is located between French Boulevard and Shevchenko Avenue, opposite the stonewall of the champagne factory. The café's kitchen offers you some open-air dishes, but the most attracting thing there is the disco. There are Free Microphone musical parties; the disco party usually starts at 11 p.m. The entrance to the disco is free. There are a lot of young people there – students of the neighboring National University
