Another very good Ukrainian...

Another very good Ukrainian restaurant in Kyiv is Khutorets.This is actually a large floating restaurant. The interior is very nicely decorated and the service is good. On warm summer days be sure to book on the top floor, with a nice view of the Dnipro river. Oh - so many good Ukrainian dishes. Of course, shashlyk is available. This is grilled meat on the open fireplace. I should also mention the Vareniki - the better version of Ravioli. These are large chunks of pasta wrapped around all kinds of delicous things. And in this place, why not try the pepper vodka. Great if you have a cold.

Vey nice atmosphere. Decorated in Ukrainian style, and with folk singers and musicians that are not too loud. Good Ukrainian food. Be sure to order enough starters - they are delicous. Try Salo - pure white fat treated with some spices. Ukrainians love it, of course with vodka.Then go for Borsch - the famous Ukrainian soup.For main course, there is a number of interesting dishes, but chances are you will have no chances of finishing it - the portions are LARGE.
