It is possible to travel from London, direct to Rivne, without a change of coach, thanks to a Kiev-based operator.
The service leaves Green-line coach station, fortnightly, promptly at 20:00
(I emphasise, promptly, because there is another, UK-based operator offering the same itinerary, but from personal misfortune I know they are total 'cowboys', leave London LATE & make no attempt to keep to their timetable, so Eastern European Travel take about 10 hours longer to complete the full journey to Kiev - & change coaches midway, though the ticket is sold as single boarding...)
If you make sure to travel with the Ukrainian company, you'll receive a professional service & be in Rivne by the early hours of Thursday morning.
(However, it is a shame to depart in Rivne city, because 2 hours further on is the Talee-Yana restaurant, where the crew stop to eat, & this is the highlight of the total journey...)
I would not wish to do this journey on a full coach, but travelling out of season means having a seat to yourself, so you're free to sleep when you wish, but apart from German autobahns, this is a very scenic route, especially the Polish section through the snow-covered pine forests.
If you want to TRAVEL & are not in a mad rush to arrive, then let the coach take the strain & enjoy the cross-channel ferry & many rest stops through 5 countries, to Ukraine...

The bus station is situated a little bit outside from the center of Rivne. But you can easily go there with the trolleybus or a taxi. It is much cheaper to use the trolleybuses to get there. At the bus station you find many people who sell things and there is never problem to buy something to eat or drink.
the problem can maybe be to buy the ticket, if they dont speak the language and that they also have different kind of letters what you are used to. But dont let that be a big thing. You will find a way to deal with this. Another problem can be to find the right bus, but ask the people if you arent sure.

If you are going to see Rivne, than take the bus. Usually, if you need to go from one side of the city to another you should take the route taxi. It will be the best way. They are always in time. Here in Rivne we have many circular routes. On bus stop you can see mostly yellow route taxies and many different colored route taxies. You can say where are you going and people at the bus stop will help you to choose the right number of a route taxi. The buses have numbering like 30, 35, 45, 67 …………..
It will be easy. A fare bus is 1,50 gryvna 1euro =7gryvnas. If you prefer to go faster you can take a taxi. The taxi fare is 15-30….. gryvnas (depends on distance).
Sometimes, if you use the bus or route taxi people inside will be the BEST sguides!!!!!

This is Rivne train station. From this station you can get to any place in Ukraine. Tikets are not so expensive.
