It was a great exercise for me to work at one of the children's health camps there in 1980 when I had a practice as a pioneer leader at Izotovets pioneer camp. All children camps in the Soveit times were called pioneer camps and they had to observe all the Young Pioneers' rituals.
The camp was/is administered by Nikita Izotov coalmine from Horlivka and it's been a long tradition that the students of our college of foreign languages had their pedagogical practice there.
