If you like unspoiled nature and clean mountains, dont visit Hoverla in late summer. It may be hard to withstand not going to highest peak, if visiting Ukrainean mountains, but that few meter difference from other peaks is not worth.

Its highest peak of Ukraine and many Ukrainean tourists go there from huts under Hoverla.

But view of top of Hoverla was sad when I was there -it was the highest located trash heap in Ukraine. Some stone pillar covered by grafitti and litter lying everywhere and it seemed most visitors are happy about it and adding new.

Other peaks and whole Ukrainean Carpaths are clean and as nice as anything you can see from Hoverla, so if you can live without that few meters of altitude, it may be better to omit the most obvious target, the highest peak.
