This is a very busy place, especially on weekends. There is a farmers’ market and you can also do shopping at numerous kiosks and shops located around the square.
However, the city forum says the market should be removed from the railway station square where there is not enough space for passengers, to say nothing of street vendors.
Another place to go shopping in a local atmosphere is the Central Market at 2 Brest Street.
What to buy: There are also ten supermarkets and shopping malls in the city,
among them “Hash kray” (“Our Land”) (10 Hrushevsky Street)
and “Veres” (79 Hrushevsky Street) where I was –
very attracting buildings, good choice of goods.
