Favorite Dish: These days Lutsk has many good places to eat. Even a McDonalds. Back then, restaraunts were few and the ones I tried were..uh...lets say BAD at best. I stuck to shashlik(meat kabobs) and HOPED it was beef or pork;-) I also shopped for my own food at local shops that is, if and when, they had anything.The cheese shop was a great standby, it always had stuff on the shelves. The shop shown in the picture was a curious mixture of candy(some days) baked goods(often) and whatever was handy locally....eggs, anti freeze and soda from Poland.
One day I found a kiosk that had Twix candy bars and I bought 30 of them and we ate them in about an hour LOL.

A: I have used both Mastercard and Visa on my visits to Ukraine.Only once did I have problems but that was about 6 yrs ago,no problems recently
