As in many such places you easily may find cats and doge that are fed up around museum. The funny thing on the 1st pic is that the table says "Dogs are not allowed to walk on the grass" but the dog was slept exatly near of such table :-))) That cat was met in the Italian yard of the palace.

churches did 'officialy not exist' - we often asked our tourleader on the crew-tour , if we could stop and take pics at this lovely church - the answer was always: 'there is nothing to see'

Alupka palace is a favorite tourist destination. It was build for a former Governer of the Crimea, a member of the Tsar's family and a very wealthy man. The palace is a strange mixture of an English country house (one side) and an Arabic palace (other side). Sort of like the Joker's face. Actually i liked the garden better, but me and my better half are still divided over this issue.

There are a lot of cultural features in YALTa i am sure you will find it but take your time,go to the port and only enjoy the atmosphere.People-morè-cruiseship arriving !!!!
