Vorontsov's palace in Alupka is one of the finest things in Crimea you can see.
A great building, and a museum as well, with interiors (furniture of the Vorontsov's epoch on display) and park (typical and exotic plants, fountains and a bit of cooling down on a hot day) also open to visitors.

Massandra Palace, just near the Yalta. This beautifil small palace was build for the russian emperor Alexander III. At that time Ukraine and Crimea were the part of the Russian Empire. As You know the capital was in Sankt-Peterburg and this city is situated far in the north and it is cold there. So the emperor and court have summer residences in Crimea.
