The Lamb Inn is an excellent 16th Century pub that possesses all the charms that an olde English public house should have: Fine selection of beer, pub garden, inviting interior, unique character, old pub games, good Sunday roast, wide selection of meals (including vegetarian) and it’s open all afternoon on a Sunday. They also serve quality examples of my favourite beverages– grapefruit and lemonade for light refreshment and the delightful Butcombe bitter. They EVEN serve Butcombe Gold, and you can’t say fairer than that!
